Menstrual Cycle Consultation

Knowing about the cycle is key for us woman to arrive in our authority and to recognize our dignity. We have a lot of power within to support our health, both physically and the psychologically, when we become familiar with the workings of our hormones.

Did you know that your hormones ( = your menstrual cycle) determine: your appetite, mood, body temperature, libido, cellular tissue, brain functions, skin composure, digestion, sensitivity to smells, sounds, touch, dreams, sleep, even how often you have to wee?

The cycle is a highly sensitive and intelligent ecosystem that aims for health and wellbeing. Yet, when we lack fundamental knowledge of it 's workings, it is nearly impossible to understand what is going on and we end up making lots of life choices (workload, schedule planning, eating, lifestyle) messing with our bodies. The hormonal system is very complex with a lot of fluctuations during the four phases of the menstrual cycle and needs particular care based on these fluctuations.

  • Why do I feel energized and super focused one day and the next low, exhausted and have a hard time to concentrate?
  • What is it with all these ups and downs?
  • How can I support my mental and physical wellbeing by knowing about my hormones?
  • What could be possible causes of my cycle related problems?

I am here to assist you in learning to understand the language of your cycle, if you need someone to talk to about how your fluctuations are literally driving you crazy, the confusion you might been having about who you are when you are always changing, your mood swings, PMS, menstrual cramps, menstrual migraines etc. And perhaps you don't even know where to start. You simply know that something with your cycle is off. I will support you and shine some light on what might be going on for you and what next steps you can take towards healing. After all, the cycle is a regulated system that we can easily support once we know the basics. Many women have healed their debilitating menstrual cramps just through this knowledge. I am one of them.

A one-on-one cycle counseling session consists of various methods that are individually determined and put together. These methods may entail: knowledge transfer, holistic nutrition tips, exercises, mindfulness, somatic embodiment psychology, menstrual cycle psychology - depending on your situation.* 

Some clients need support from an expert in a certain field in the healing arts. In such a case I will also provide you with contacts from my large net of colleagues from the holistic health world (coaches, naturopaths, psychotherapists, healers, bodyworkers, etc.)
